In Coming around again, a series of performative photographic installations, created along the Straits of Malacca, Tim Silver continues to explore themes of erosion, and the passage of time for which his practice is renowned. Silver's use of objects from popular culture, cast in historic trade materials, engage viewers in a realised process of entropy and sweet decay.

Alongside this photographic series, Silver presented one of his most ambitious works to date. An ongoing sculptural performance work named Rory took the form of a small boy cast from watercolour pigment. A water drip will slowly released onto the sculpture, triggering the process of transformation and erosion in real time over the course of the exhibition.
